New Adventure Collection

OK, I want to start off with how when I was a kid, I used to love listening to JP. I was binging each of the old adventures, and I loved all of them. Right when I finished series nine I was super sad. Then Wise King Media announced series ten was coming out, and it was about teenage Jonathan in Egypt with Jessie and her cousin Isaac. At first it took me awhile to get used to Jessie's new personality, as she was kind of annoying and didn't much resemble her younger self, but after awhile it grew on me. (Sorry for making such a big deal about it in previous reviews) The Dreamer's Tomb was so well done, I couldn't wait for the next one. The next few ones were so good, and oh my gosh "Light in the Shadows was sooo well done!!! (Kudos, WKM) Unfortunately, I was not as impressed with the next two series. (The Greatest Power, and The Defining Moment) but WKM made an epic comeback with "Legend Unleashed"!!! That one was probably my favourite. It was like Indiana Jones! So dang well done!!! Unfortunately, they started going downhill from there, and I don't want to be mean, but at the same time I'm trying to be honest and give helpful constructive criticism. (So WKM, please don't take this wrong, I was, am, and will forever be a diehard JP fan) "No Other Gods" and "The One True God" were OK, but didn't peak the charts like the last one did. But then we have "Weapons of Our Warfare", and honestly, that one was probably the worst. It was cheesy, (no pun intended) and felt completely unnecessary. Then we have "Sound the Alarm," and I was so exited when they got home, but then they left almost immediately to go cross country. WKM, what's wrong with occasionally having the Parks and Brennans stay home for more than a week at a time?! How do they afford to go to all these places? So far they've been to Egypt, the North Pole, (twice) the Amazon Rainforest, (twice) Scotland, England, Eritrea, Greece, Israel, and India! Give the poor blighters a break! Please! And when they are home, where are Jessie's parents and brother? Where are Jonathan's siblings? Jonathan's old friends like Eddie and Thad! Everyone is missing!

We had purchased the first half of the Jonathan Park CDs for our granddaughters, ages 3 through 8, for Christmas. I wasn’t sure how well the girls would like them, and needed to be certain that the remaining ones were wanted before buying any additional ones. When I texted my daughter-in-law to ask, she said “Yes, please! Get them more! The girls love them!”

Great listening for teenagers and young adults!!!

My kids, ages 10 to 16, love this adventure series and it has solid educational value too.

Do any of you know how long the Sales last? As in only today? Or will they still be here tomorrow?
